Boarding & Extended Stays
Boarding is available exclusively to previous clients who have completed a Board & Train program and to dogs within the household of clients who have completed a Board & Train program. If you are not a training client with us, boarding is not available.
Boarding takes place in our home and is based entirely on availability. We cannot guarantee a spot, so advanced notice is required.
Boarding Rates
Effective June 1st, 2026:
Standard Boarding: $55 per night
VIP Boarding: $50 per night
Dogs picked up after 2pm on their final day will also incur a $35 daily care rate
VIP status is determined by the type of training program your dog completed.
Payment is due one week prior to your dog’s boarding stay.
Pickup & Drop-Off Fees
If you would like transportation assistance for your dog’s boarding stay:

Pickup & Drop-Off Availability
To help us maintain structure and consistency for the dogs in our care, pickup and drop-off appointments are available during the following hours:
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Sunday: No pickup or drop-off availability
Pickup and drop-off times must be scheduled in advance at the time your boarding reservation is made.
Health Requirements
Dogs cannot come for boarding if they are showing symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, or lethargy.
If you suspect your dog is sick or has ingested something they should not have ingested, they should not come to our home facility for boarding. As unfortunate as that may be, we recommend reaching out to your veterinarian for boarding options for animals who appear ill.
Vaccination & Fecal Requirements
All dogs boarding with us must be current on:

Rabies vaccination

Distemper vaccination

Bordetella vaccination

A recent fecal screening completed within the last six months
If your dog frequently attends dog parks, daycare facilities, group play settings, or other high-volume dog environments outside of coming to us, a fecal screening must be submitted no less than two weeks prior to your dog’s boarding stay.
Dogs with confirmed fecal parasites are not permitted to attend boarding at our home facility. This policy is in place to help protect the health and safety of all dogs in our care.
What to Expect
Dogs boarding with us receive the same level of care, structure, and commitment that our trainees and personal dogs receive. Boarding dogs are exercised regularly, kept safe, crated when unattended, and included as part of our household just like they were during training.
For stays longer than four days, you may let us know if there is a specific area of training you would like us to refresh or work on during your dog’s stay.
Grooming Add-On Option
Upon request, you may schedule a grooming appointment for your dog during their boarding stay through Golden Isles Pet Resort.
Please note:

Grooming appointments must be scheduled directly by you with the grooming facility.

Grooming costs are entirely your responsibility and are paid directly to the groomer.

The groomer will send you an invoice for services rendered.

Average grooming costs for services such as baths, nail trims, sanitary trims, and basic grooming typically range from approximately $130–$160 depending on your dog’s size, coat type, and needs.

Because grooming appointments book far in advance, we require as much notice as possible if you would like to coordinate grooming during your dog’s stay.
We charge a $20 transportation fee to bring your dog to and from their grooming appointment at Golden Isles Pet Resort.
